ASCOT CRICKET CLUB
How are we travelling?: A sense of rejuvenation pervades Middleton Park in 2018/19 with a change in captaincy for all teams. Four very experienced players are at the helm and are planning to convert recent near misses into silverware. With a group of under 19 players, father/son combinations and players from the local junior Club, this will assist the Club’s plans. This season, A.C.C now has an extra 23 players on selection night. We have also welcomed a new coach to the club who has been able to facilitate and manage our training sessions and bring an enthusiastic vibe to the group. Ascot CC enjoys regular social and fundraising events which encourages involvement from all players and their families. The A.C.C is proudly represented in the WA Veterans Cricket Comp as well as having several A.C.C players in the Cricket West Veterans team for the P.C.A. We enjoy a good relationship with the City of Belmont and boast of our fantastic facilities with brand new training nets and storage provided over the last couple of years.
With an energetic new President, first time Committee members and new sponsors all promise exciting times for Ascot Cricket Club in 2018/19 and beyond.
