Another powerhouse grand final performance has delivered the PCA Vets an unparalleled 6th consecutive CricketWest T20 title at the WACA Ground on Sunday.

Bowling first on a glorious WACA deck, our bowlers had the WA Suburban Turf batsmen under pressure from the very start and a total of 7/119 was never going to be enough against the strong PCA line up.
Mitch Hardy (Leederville) was the tear away bowler of day - bagging the stunning figures of 4 overs, 2 maidens, 4 wickets for 7 runs. Alistair Owen-Browne (Ascot) also bowled beautifully to earn 2 wickets and if not for some rather average catching attempts, he may have had a few more wickets in the bank.
Chasing down the total was always assured, with opener Mark Ennis (Leederville) remaining unbeaten on 39 off 42 balls. Alistair Owen-Browne (Ascot) made 29 off 32 balls and the Vets "Demolition Man" Ryan Ruthven (Leederville) hitting a whirlwind 29 off only 15 balls.
This tight-knit group of players from across our Association have taken all before them for a very long time and are a great example of what a team can achieve when you have one goal and respected team mates. Well done guys... from all the players and committee of the PCA.
