Our all conquering Vets team had a double header on Sunday at Charles Veryard on Sunday and split the points against Suburban Turf & Swan Helena.
We fell 7 runs short chasing a total of 141 against WASTCA in game one. In game two we batted first and put on on formidable total of 6/171 and won by a convincing 50 runs.
Our best performers on the day were Mick Evans who put together 28* and 45* in his two knocks. Dave Catania made 34 in game one and Darren Kavanagh 21 and 17 opening the innings.
With the ball, Jason Poletti took 2/10 & 2/19, Adam Wreford a 3/26 and Jason Hamling 2/15.
Our next game is against North Suburban at Princess Reserve on Nov 18. Go guys!!
